The Audit Committee of the Federal Administration (ACFA) is an advisory body to the federal Government. It offers advice and recommendations to the Council of Ministers about the general operations of the federal public services.
It's tasks
Contribute to the good governance of the federal public services and guarantee that the taxpayer’s money is used wisely by the federal public services:
- By avoid waste, errors, fraud, unnecessary work, accidents…
- By protect the State’s tangible and intangible (information, knowledge of its employees) assets
- By act in a manner consistent with the laws and regulations
- By ensure reliable accountability
