Secretariat
The Permanent Secretariat acts as the general secretariat of the Audit Committee. It supports the Audit Committee in its daily operations and ensures the continuity of its activities.
The Secretariat:
- serves as a permanent contact point for all interlocutors of the ACFO;
- follows up on the files;
- prepares the agenda for the meetings together with the chairman;
- prepares the necessary documents for the meetings;
- ensures the timely distribution of documents and information;
- drafts a version of the meeting minutes and submits it for approval to the members of the ACFO;
- keeps an overview of the meetings with the accompanying documents;
- supports the ACFO in preparing various reports to the Ministers, the Council of Ministers, and the executives;
- organizes the meetings of the ACFO with the ministers, the executives, the responsible internal audit, and the responsible externalcontrol bodies;
- assists the executives in formulating their advisory requests;
- follows up on the advice of the ACFO;
- ensures that necessary actions are taken between meetings;
- keeps the chairman and members informed of developments within the ACFO’s area of competence;
- centralizes, manages, and archives the documents communicated to the ACFO;
- manages the ACFO website;
- manages the ACFO budget.
In accordance with the Royal Decree of August 17, 2007, establishing the Audit Committee of the Federal Government, the members have appointed Mr. Ronny Damoiseau as the head of the Permanent Secretariat of the Audit Committee.
